Needless to say, Rohtang Epic asks for some shredded calf muscles, and in the worst cases, an extra pair of lungs could do.

ROHTANG EPIC – 50 MILES OF ULTRA ADVENTURE THROUGH THE PILE OF CORPSES

Rohtang Epic is an ultra-marathon through the roads that stand tall in the scope of traversing roads through mountain passes. At the Rohtang Epic 50 miles, you need to cross the longest road distance (a 14 km traverse) through a mountain pass on the Leh-Manali Highway and reach Sissu in the Lahaul Valley. In the shortest race format of GHRF, you run the 50 Miles with an elevation gain of 2,267 M D+

It’s mostly at night that the runners climb the roads to the pass, and the leading runner gets to witness the majestic sunrise of Rohtang La. Running an ultramarathon on these roads and at such altitudes requires a strong will and specialized training. If you are planning to join and run an ultramarathon through the mighty Rohtang Pass, it’s time you made up your mind. We are accepting registrations for the GHRF 2024
